Nature vs. Nurture

This was my final project for a Trend Forecasting class I had during the Spring 2025 term. It was to be a comprehensive forecast for the upcoming year including an inital moodboard, non apparel visuals, a color story, silhouettes/ looks, embellishment/trims, and textiles. Images were pulled from pinterest and muliple Fashion Week runways shows to include high fashion and streetwear innovators.

I observed a lot of silhouettes, colors, and fabrics reminiscent of nature; these flowy and whimsical shapes were contrasted with metal works and thick fabrics like fur and leather. Ties and grommets, in particular, really caught my attention I continued to see them in multiple runway shows of Spring 2025.
